MU 2017 Preliminary Competition - Swimwear
Kahit tapos na MU season at malapit na natin i-welcum ang 2018, sa dahilang kanina ko lang napanuod ang prelims ng MU meron pa rin ako ma-say. At eto ay opinyon ko lang naman at di naman ako nagpapaka trying maging pageant expert dahil di ko naman pinangarap. Ok!

Farthest Closest National Capitals
A little confusing eh.
But simply put, these are the capital cities that is the closest but if compared with other countries is the farthest. Oh well...let's just enjoy the numbers.
OCEANIA
Canberra is the closest capital to Wellington with the astonishing distance of 2,328.78 KM. Also, Wellington is closest to Canberra than any other capital city within or outside Oceania.
ASIA
In close second is an Asian country capital of Dili, the closest capital measured from any direction is Bandar Seri Begawan which is 1,906.55 KM away. Long way to paddle it is! But Bandar Seri Begawan's closest neighbor though is Manila in a whooping 1,266.38 KM.
EUROPE
It might seem odd because we see this continent as tightly packed in a small corner of Eurasia but nonetheless Reyjavik is so isolated from the rest of Europe that it is 1,490.47 KM away to its closest neighboring capital which is Dublin. Dublin's closest neighbor though is not Reykjavik but of course London with only 463.84 KM between them.
SOUTH AMERICA
From South America, Brasilia's closest neighboring capital city that also shared border with it is Asuncion in a distance of 1,459.06 KM. Asuncion's nearest neighbor is Buenos Aires with a distance of 1,042.61 KM.
AFRICA
In the whole of Africa, Victoria's nearest neighboring capital Mogadishu is the farthest among the countries from this continent measuring 1,349.45 KM. But Mogadishu's closest neighbor capital is not Victoria but Nairobi with a distance of 1,016.07. Africa is indeed a huge continent.

The Golem (Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam) [1920]
Silent movie eto. Ang mga hudyo na naninirahan sa ghetto ay gustong palayasin ng emperor sa siyudad. Binuhay ni Rabbi Loew si Golem na isang nilalang na gawa sa clay, para maipagtanggol sila sa pamamagitan ng black magic. Nailigtas ni Golem sa kapahamakan ang Emperador kaya bilang ganti ay di na sila pinalayas. Dahil nga galing sa kadiliman ang pagbuhay ke Golem eto ay mahirap pasunurin at naging pasaway sa kanyang amo na si Rabbi, na muntik na ikapahamak ng kanyang anak na si Miriam. Sa huli nabalik sa kanyang dating kalikasan si Golem bilang clay.

Barbarella [1968]
For a 1968 film it is good for me. I have read some reviews and I have to disagree, this movie has a lot of entertainment value at least for me. The story may not be at far with other classics or the editing is not that seamless but it tried to be entertaining.
A very young Jane Fonda looks stunning in here.
I am not disappointed, though the story line is rather shallow. But just the same it has this sfx that is yummy to me, the color..the shapes all of it.
6 stars for me.

The Boy and the Wind (O Menino e o Vento) [1967]
After almost 6 months ngayon lang ako ulit nakanuod ng movie.
Maganda naman sha wento ng isang Engineer na naakusahan ng pagpatay sa isang teenager na lalake na naging kaibigan nya sa pagbakasyon nya sa isang lugar na kanyang pinuntahan. Inaakusahan din siya na nagkaroon ng seksuwal na relasyon sa batang ito. Kinaelangan nyang bumalik sa lugar matapos nya itong lisanin para harapin ang kaso at dito nag umpisa ang kuwento. Mahiwaga ang pagkawala ng batang lalake dahil di nasabi sa katapusan kung saan na napunta ito. Ang dalawang bida eh parehong mahilig sa hangin. Me kaweirdohan pero lahat naman tayo me kanya -kanyang hilig di ba? So sinu tayo para mangealam. Basta ako nag enjoy ako panuorin to. Me pagka fantasya-fantasyahan din kasi nawala yung bata nung panahon na napakalakas ng hangin.
Binigyan ko sha ng 7 stars na rating sa IMDB, at magada ang pagkakagawa kahit na itoy sinapelikula noon pang 1967. Kung mahilig kayo sa mga lumang movies pwede nyo i-try to panuorin. Parehong guwapo ang mga bida..hehehe.

Miss Universe 2017 is...
Miss South Africa - Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters
She bested other contestants from 91 countries and it's the second crown for South Africa after Margaret Gardiner's won in 1978. I am actually rooting for her to win after the Final Q&A portion. She was crowned by 2016 MU Iris Mittinaere of France, again with the Mikimoto Crown.
Philippines rep Miss Rachel Peters managed to reached 2nd cut of the competition but failed to make it to the top 5.

Miss International 2017 is.....
Miss Indonesia - Kevin Lilliana!
A well deserved win and though our own representative didn't make the cut this year, still we are proud of MDS performance and besides last year's title holder is Miss Kylie Verzosa my bet for Bb. Pilipinas MU.It's Indonesia's first crown from the Big 5 pageant, we are happy for our fellow ASEAN country to finally clinch a major title. They are doing very good the past pageant seasons.
Just a few days ago Philippines' own representative to Miss Earth (another one of the Big 5) had won the coveted title, a fourth for our country.
This year ASIA is slaying the pageant stage.

SOGO Personal Care Kit - Ano nga ba laman?
Ang pagkakaalam ko bibigyan ka nito pag more than 6 hrs ang stay mo sa kanilang premium rooms or better. Di ko sha nagamit kasi gusto ko talaga sha iuwi hahaha (typical pinoy - or mahilig lang mag kulek). Saka me dala akong kikay kit that time, and so inamin ko na akin to hahaha, pero siempre mag isa lang ako nyan. Nag overnight lang kasi gusto ko lang ma feel konti ang privacy, saka tinatamad na ako umuwi ng Cavite. Tsaar!
So ano nga ba ang laman nito?

Who's back?
Ako!!!
Matapos ang limang buwang pamamahinga, eto at na excite na naman ako ulit magsulat. Kase naman pinauwi kami dahil sa nawalan ng kontrata ang aming sponsor sa kumpanya na pinag suplayan sa amin kaya kelangan namin mag exit. At nagka problema pa ako sa aking medical test sa Pinas at dahil mejo mashado mahaba para ipaliwanag, pabayaan na lang natin sha at i-chacharge ko na lang sa experience ang lahat. Ayan tuloy di ako nakakapag entry sa mga prediction games ng Misso. But am so happy for the overly long vacation kasi nakasama ko family ko, and just in time sa panganganak ng misis ko (our 2nd baby - and a baby boy at that!).
Andaming nangyari at mahirap ng balikan para i-wento pa lahat. Gusto ko mag post muna ng mga kaweirdohan ko at kung anu-ano pang kababawan at mga walang kawenta wentang bagay. Hahahaha.

- nangungulek ka rin ba ng soda can tabs (sabi nila para mapapalitan ng wheelchair), ng takip ng 5 galloon mineral water, ng printed table napkins, ng refreshing tissue, ng air sickness bags, ng boarding passes? etc..etc.
- tinatago mo ba mga niload mong phone cards? ako uu, hahahaha!
- pati mga expired na kung anu-anong cards nakatago lahat.
- at mas malala pag sa Pinas ako nag halungkat kasi mas madami akong BASURA dun.
Ako kasi ang taong mahirap mag let go sa mga bagay bagay. Halos lahat tinatago ko kahit alam ko na wala naman halaga (imagine resibo at withdrawal slips di ko tinatapon, gosh!)
Anyways, kahit ano na lang na naitago ko dito sa bahay pictyuran ko at ipost ko dito kasi alam ko wala naman ako mashado readers (or meron nga ba?) kesa sa FB ko ipost dito na lang.
