It's Almost Christmas!

After almost 2 years of not being able to post, I am definitely back and will try to continue where I left off on my journey here.

How's everyone? Hope you are all doing great kahit mejo taghirap dito sa ating bayang mahal. Andami naganap sa nakalipas na 23 na buwan davah.

As for me, I am already back here in my home country, The Philippines and currently employed in a BPO company here in Makati. 

I do really miss working overseas and be an expat but equally happy to be back here in my native country and enjoy the freedom and all the things I missed during my 13 years working abroad (specially the foods, ohhhh).

I'll try to post as frequently as I can for I don't have that much load in my current post.

eto ang lugar kung saan ko unang naransan ma culture shock. bilang batang laking probinsya na di man lang nakakasilay ng kahit anong de-apat na gulong na sasasakyan, ng matuntong ako dito ay di ko alam kung ano mararamdaman ko masaya or matatakot. sa dami ng tao at sa sobrang gulo pakiwari ko ba eh eto na yung sentro ng buong pilipinas. siguro mga edad 9 na ako unang nakarating ng maynila at kasagsagan pa ng edsa people power nun kaya me mga nalalabi pang putukan at minsan eh ugong ng rally. sa divisoria halos lahat ng hinahanap mo makikita mo na, laruan, damit, gulay, chichirya, sapatos, prutas at kahit ano pa man hanapin mo ikot ikot ka lang for sure makakakita ka. nung tumira na kami ng coron, at me tindahan ang mama ko sa palengke dito sha madalas mamakyaw ng mga damit saka sa baclaran. kaya nung me trabaho na ako sa makati at lumuluwas sha ng maynila minsan sinasamahan ko sha mamili dito, minsan naiinis pa ako sa kanya kasi ikot kami ng ikot kung saan sha makakakita ng hinahanap nya na makakamura sha, tapos ako naman dabog ng dabog. (i could have brought unlimited patience and understanding huhuhu..) ngayong wala na mama ko sobra ko sha namimiss at minsan pag nagagawi ako sa divi umaasa ko na sana once makita ko sha na andun na namimili...ohh am sad.

Teams from these international news agencies --- I’d like to mention those interested BBC --- are set to visit the country soon to train people from government-run channels to observe. Ito ang gusto ko --- tutal pera naman ng tao --- to observe editorial independence through innovative programs [applause] and intelligent treatment and analysis of news reports, as well as developments of national and international significance.

Abroad pa more...

Bakit nga ba maraming FILIPINO ang nangingibang bansa?


Isa sa pinaka pangkaraniwang dahilan eh ang kawalan ng pantay at sapat na oportunidad sa Pilipinas. Sa tingin ko me katotohanan sa iba pero sa naging situwasyon ko hinde naman siguro. Umalis ako sa Pilipinas na isang permanenteng empleyado sa isa sa mga tinatawag na Universal Bank. Maayos naman ang pasahod (2007 nasa 16k plus na basic ko), me mid year bonus, annual bonus, performance bonus at siempre isama pa dyan ang Christmas Bonus at 13th month pay. Pero naisipan ko pa ring umalis dahil sa gusto ko lamang magkaroon ng experience ba sa buhay abroad. Naaalala ko pa, kinausap ako ng Head ng Department namin para alamin ang dahilan ko sa pag-alis at hinihikayat na wag na munang umalis. Isa sa pinagpipilitan kong dahilan eh gusto ko mag abroad at dahil nga nag aaply na ako nun , sabi ko para kahit ano oras ako magliban sa trabaho for interview  or para mag asikaso ng dokumento di ako makakasagabal sa trabaho. Sabi pa ng Boss ko pwede naman daw ako wag na muna mag resign at habang di pa naman nakakakita ng siguradong pupuntahan pwede naman daw na mag leave pag kelangan talaga, pero di talaga ako nagpapigil.


At ayun na nga nakapag abroad ako after few months or weeks di ko na tanda. Sa pangingibang bansa minsan suwertehan din, meron mga nakaka-alis na napupunta sa magandang trabaho at meron din naman na sa hinde kagandahang puwesto. Meron ako naging tropa na nakapunta dito sa Saudi at napunta sa isang maliit at nag-uumpisa pa lamang na Contracting Firm. Imagine board passer na Inhenyero tapos minsan nadedelay ang sahod at dahil walang nakukuhang project ang firm, natetengga sha sa opisina kaya kung ano ano na lang pinagagawa sa kanya. Sa huli umuwi na lang siya at lumipat ata sa ibang bansa, wala na rin ako balita sa kanya.


Gusto ko lang ipunto na di naman lahat ng nag-aabroad eh napupunta sa mahirap na trabaho or kalagayan, madalas kasi nababalita sa TV na meron mga kababayan tayo na napapahamak, naapi or naagrabyado sa kanilang trabaho. Siguro madami nga pero mas madami ako kakilala at nababalitaan na maayos naman kalagayan nila at sa totoo nga eh nagtatagal sila sa pag aabroad kasi nasanay na or dahil maganda naman ang kanilang napuntahang kumpanya. Ang isa na nakikitang magandang benepisyo eh walang bawas ang buwanan mong sahod dahil wala naman income tax sa karamihan ng ME countries (pero wag nyo isipin na di kami nag aambag ng buwis sa gobyerno kasi ang lahat ng perang napapadala sa pamilya namin eh lahat dumadaan sa serbisyo at produkto na me pataw na buwis) Bukod sa tax, kung ang trabaho mo eh opisina maayos ang iyong kapaligiran kasi malamig lagi, me maayos kang tranportation, minsan unlimited pa internet. Sa pagkain mejo maninibago ka kasi tulad dito sa KSA walang baboy so ang choice mo lang is GULAY, MANOK, ISDA at BAKA, pero masasanay ka din. Kakamiss din kaya ang karne ng baboy, lalo na yung mejo me taba taba..hehehe! Kung maayos ang kumpanya mo at napunta ka sa magandang assignment me option pa para mag live-out ka sa halip na nasa KAMPO ka at kasama mo sa isang kuwarto ang minsan ay limang kapwa Pinoy. Pag nasa kampo maganda rin naman kasi wala ka ng iisipin pa, kakain ka na lang, me taga laba, libre transportation, bahay at minsan pati personal items (sabon, toothpaste....etc). Kaya kung me kuya ka or kaibigan na dinadayalugan ka na kesyo "ang hirap hanapin ang pera sa abroad, di pinupulot ang pera, nagtitiis kami ng homesick para kumita, etc etc.." utang na loob minsan echos na lang yun. Di mo alam ang sarap ng buhay ng mga yan, pag nasa office maghapon chat at internet browsing..kakain sa tanghalian ansasarap ng pagkain sa cafeteria (oldo minsan kakaumay na, still masarap pa din), pag walang ginagawa chismisan ng chismisan, pa-uwi ansarap ng upo sa service di pagod mag drive (or mag commute), pag nasa bahay na kakain na lang (pag nasa kampo, pag live out kakain sa labas), magdamag naglalaro ng COC or nag ffb fb lang, pag weekend maghapong maglalaro or maglalakwatsa, pag gabi walang istorbo sa tulog kasi di kasama ang pamilya (nasa Pinas) so hindi nagpapadede or nagpapalit ng diapers. Kaya pwede ba pag narinig mo ulit nag reklamo kuya mo or asawa mo na mahirap buhay sa abroad...sagot mo "UTOT MO" sabi sa nabasa kong BLOG di naman, SUS! Pero siempre di lahat pare-pareho ang situwasyon.

Sa halip na puro basa lang, gusto ko rin magsulat at siyempre mas kumportable magsulat sa ating sariling wika, pero siguro minsan makakabasa din kayo ng Ingles o ng iba pang wika dito kasi nga me iba't-ibang wika sa mundong ito. Sa dati kong blog di ko napanindigan ang pag popost pero sana this time magawa ko.

Isa nga pala akong OFW at dahil medyo di naman ganun ka busy sa work kaya minsan naisisingit ang mga ganito, pero pag trabaho naman na siyempre trabaho naman tayo. Ganun tayo mga Pinoy minsan pag wala ginagawa nagpipilit maghanap ng tatrabahuhin.

Mga hilig ko ngayon eh maglaro sa phone (siempre Piano Tiles 2, Candy Crush/Soda, Flow..etc). Hilig ko din pageant, actually me account ako sa Misso at kasali ako sa mga Prediction Game/s (ganun-ganun). Isa ko pa kinahihiligan eh about genealogy, tapos like ko rin Movies, TV Series saka maglaro ulit sa FB (poker..etc).

Sa unang post ko na to, tapos na ang National Election sa Pinas for 2016, at ngayon araw yata na eto na proklama sina P-Duterte at VP-Robredo. Binoto ko si Leni pero hinde si Du30, die hard Miriam Santiago ako eh. Anyways, kahit di ko naman binoto si Du30 panalo pa rin naman siya sa dami ng supporters nya. Sa tingin ko talagang ang mga tao uhaw na uhaw na sa pagbabago kaya gusto si Du30, madami kasing mga pangako si Digong na kung iisipin mo napaka impossible naman magawa, like reresolba ang problema sa droga in 6 months? (wow eh di siya na talaga!), pero nakikita kasi ng masa na baka nga sha na ang sagot sa problema ng inang bayan, eh di sige tingnan natin. Before election sabi ko ok lang sa akin na manalo si Du30 pero di ko sha iboboto.

Saka na ako mag wento about sa paanu ako napunta ng abroad, madami pa tayong time.
